I see that now. I'll need to get back on it when I'm able. The extra spaces may make sense due to the way I'm splitting the subject. I should be able to fix that. The trailing garbage characters, not sure why that is right now.

The method used by rslight to decode would explain the extra spaces,
that can be fixed. Then I'll need to clean up (figure out why) there is

At this point, I think it's working properly. The rest of the bugs I was aware of related to multibyte character handling have been addressed and hopefully solved.

Truncating for thread view works without breaking things, and subject is now only encoded if necessary.

It looks like I messed up an inn config file on my end

It seems that it is very easy to do this (inn is complex and sensitive).

Also, def2.i2p has been sending "503 - Service Not Available" for a bit.

Glad it's working :) It also cleans up characters such as quotes etc.

I'm getting close to finished on a simple installer for rslight, which
makes it easy to get it running and also to add other sorted group
selections (like on rslight). I'll release that once it's complete.

Should we do the same with bbs? Just a zip (or tgz or whatever) for bbs
and/or rslight. Download it, extract it, run the install and it's done.

I'll spend more time on this later in the week.

I don't know, bbs needs to have inn2 running on the same machine, and no matter how easy the setup of bbs will be, inn2 will always make it "not-easy".
For rslight it is different, because you can connect to a news server a different box...
