When it was first announced I thought it might add a bit of spice with some drivers pushing a bit to hard to get it. But it's just not adding working out.

Perez really got hung out to dry by it. They left him out at least three laps to long and then he didn't get it anyway because it left Bottas uncovered so Bottas tries it which let Verstappen come in. I guess it was a bit of drama because someone could have had a bad stop.
Whole thing should just go away next season.

I disagree. It spices things up and shows what the drivers are actually capable of on low fuel on a
fully rubbered-in track, when they can drain the battery and they're not having to conserve tyres.
Then there's always the chance that one of them will overdo it and change the finishing order. It
gets my vote after initial skepticism.
