Caveat, Jags playing their 1st teamers,
Cowboys playing 2nd-3rd teamers.

Focused on players on the bubble:

WR Simi Fehoko, catch for short gain.

Special teams coverage on 1st punt, gave
up 18 yards.

CB Kelvin Joseph gave up 38 yard recep-
tion failing to turn around & look for the
ball, poor coverage, receiver wide open.

DT Quinton Bohanna, missed tackle.

CB Nahshon Wright left receiver wide open
for a TD, poor coverage, went for a sideline
fake which receiver turned upfield for the
TD.

S Malik Hooker, defensive holding call turned
down by Jags due to their scoring a TD.

On that initial drive led by 1st pick of 2021
draft QB Trevor Lawrence, Cowboys defense
looked inept.

Special teams on kickoff return, holding call
placed ball on 8 yard line.

WR Malik Turner, 2 catches, one for a 1st down.

QB Cooper Rush, poor 3rd down pass nowhere
near open receiver, incomplete.

Special teams, good coverage on punt resulted
in fair catch.

2nd Jaguars drive, steadily moving downfield,
CB Nahshon Wright good pass breakup on short
3rd down pass, but good punt leaves Cowboys
near their 5 yard line. Coverage interrupted by
Ida news so don't know what happened, but
when coverage returned, Jags had ball at their
33 yard line.

Ron'Dell Carter called for personal foul when he
hit Trevor Lawrence after a pass, 15 yard penalty
for a late hit.

CB Maurice Canady poor attempt at tackle of
tight end allowing for a 1st down as tight end
bounced off of attempted tackle.

CB Kelvin Joseph out of the game with a left
groin injury.

Short pass, attempted tackles by Cowboys
either missed or unable to bring running back
down 'til he almost scored. CB Deante Burton
poor coverage allowed TD by Jags receiver.

Thus far, 13:27 into 2nd quarter, NO Cowboys
player showing any reason to keep them on the
roster, dismal performances on both offense &
defense thus far.

Cooper Rush, nowhere near good enough to
justify a backup roster spot, Garrett Gilbert now
QB. Brenden Knox 5 yard run up the middle,
longest run of the night thus far for the Cowboys.
Gilbert poor pass on 3rd & 2 to player nowhere
near a 1st down, well-covered behind the line,
beyond player's reach.

Good tackle by DT Quinton Bohanna. After
3rd down catch, S Israel Mukuamu celebrated
a tackle leaving Jags 2 yards short of 1st down.

9 yard pass completion to Simi Fehoko. Nice 1st
down by RB JaQuan Hardy on 2nd-and-short 2
yard run. Gilbert throws ball away on 1st down
pass to the ground. JaQuan Hardy 2 yard run.

After 5 yard penalty, 3rd-and-3, Gilbert makes a
pass knocked away at last second, uncatchable
due to play by Jags defensive back. On 4-and-3,
complete on good throw/catch by Malik Turner
at Jags 45 yard line for 1st down.

Pass complete to TE Nick Eubanks, 14 yard gain
for 1st down.

Good 11 yard run for another 1st down by JaQuan
Hardy.

19 yard TD pass to WR Aaron Parker.

Deep pass complete against CB Nahshon Wright,
despite Nahshon staying step-for-step with the
receiver who made a great diving catch. Good
pass rush by DT Justin Hamilton on 3rd down,
almost got to QB before he tossed an incomple-
tion. Result, a 47 yard field goal.

Nice 7 yard run by RB Brenden Knox, followed
by 5 yard run for a 1st down. Brenden Knox 6
yard pass reception. Pass incomplete to Simi
Fehoko. Pass out-of-bounds on 3rd down.

Jags, great catch on deep 3rd down pass in
front of CB Deante Burton. 2nd-and-10 pass
intercepted by S Israel Mukuamu. Bad pass
caused by hit on QB by DE Ron'Dell Carter.

10 yard pass for 1st down to WR Aaron Parker.
Poor pass by Gilbert, wide of the mark, on next
1st down play, 37 seconds left in 1st half. 29
seconds left in 1st half, 3rd down and 10, 12
yard pass complete to Simi Fehoko for 1st
down at Jags 46 yard line.

3 yard pass to Reggie Davis at Jags 43 yard
line, 7 seconds left, 5 yard penalty on Jags.
