Very little to be confident about regarding the
performances of the Cowboys backups today.

2nd half details:

RB JaQuan Hardy, great stop/tackle on kickoff
return.

Jabril Cox, tackle of runner for a loss. Israel
Mukuamu hit QB as he passed on 3rd down,
causing an incompletion.

Special Teams holding penalty on return causing
10 yard loss, ball at Cowboys 10 yard line.

DiNucci's last chance to demonstrate he should
get a roster spot, 15 yard completion to Jeremy
Sprinkle for a 1st down.

Brenden Knox 4 yard run followed by 1 yard loss.
3rd and 7, incomplete pass to Osirus Mitchell.

Good tackle by Steven Parker on punt return .

Pass to wide open receiver uncovered for 29
yard gain. Missed tackle (didn't catch the num-
ber of the Cowboys who missed the tackle),
as runner makes a 1st down at Cowboys 40
yard line.

Jags fumble & recover back at Jags 43 yard
line. 5 yard false start penalty. 15 yard face
mask penalty on S Israel Mukumau on 3rd
down.

CB Deante Burton gives up 3rd down pass
for 1st down. CB Deante Burton beaten for
a TD. CB Deante Burton is having a very bad
night, not expected to make the final roster,
definitely won't make it what with him being
victimized by Jags several times today.

Brenden Knox 8 yard run, makes 1st down
with 4 yard run on 3rd & 2. DiNucci throws
a poor pass which should've been intercepted,
dropped by Jags defender. Short pass to TE
Nick Eubanks, breaks tackle for 9 yard gain.
On 3rd & short, deep pass underthrown to
Reggie Davis.

Poor 4th down pass, Jags take over at Cow-
boys 47 yard line.

Jags make 2 1st downs down to Cowboys 20
yard line. Another 1st down on a pass down
to Cowboys 9 yard line in front of Nahshon
Wright.

Luke Gifford has made several impressive
tackles tonight, the last being at the 8 on a
1st down run for 1 yard. Steven Parker stops
receiver at the 2 yard line. Ball knocked out
of runner's hand by DT Justin Hamilton, Jags
settle for 34 yard field goal.

7:53 left in the game, Jags 27, Cowboys 7.

After holding penalty on special team, Cowboys
start at 15 yard line. Brandon Smith didn't seem
to realize the ball was thrown to him, may have
been caught had Brandon been aware that it
was thrown to him. Poor 3rd down pass from
Dinucci to Osirus Mitchell.

9 yard pass to Jags tight end. 2nd & short, 4
yard run for 1st down. 11 yard run on 1st down
for another 1st down. 19 yard run on 1st down
for another 1st down at Cowboys 10 yard line,
broke 2 Cowboys tackles.

Jags run it in on 2nd down to go ahead 34 to 7.

Cowboys defense, their worst performance of
a 4 losses no wins preseason. As for players
showing enough to make the final roster, I saw
very little evidence tonight that anyone, well,
I'll await postgame assessments before saying
what I was gonna say.

C Matt Farniok, for example, I think he may have
played well enough to secure a roster spot to-
night. LB Luke Gifford, same deal. S Israel Muku-
amu, mixed performance, not sure.

On 4th & 3, good completion to Brandon Smith
for 1st down at Jags 48 yard line followed by
another 1st down on an 11 yard pass down to
Jags 37 yard line. Johnny Dixon 1st down on a
pass to Jags 16 yard line.
