I was thinking of it more as a legacy thing. Hamilton being able to say the team that was built around him has been passed on to his preferred teammate.

I know that's not how things tend to work in F1, but it was just a thought.

I agree about Norris.

I think it was the oddity of Hamilton using the radio that's causing the fuss. I've certainly never driven an F1 car but I expect there is a level of effort and distraction in everything and going through the process of sending a message that is extraneous to getting the best racing result possible seemed purposed.

But Hamilton functions at a different level too. So, maybe not.
