intended for another newsgroup, accident-
ally posted in here, but of value for everyone
as everyone is at risk of getting Islit, albeit ...

.... the risk is very small, about 1 in 200 for
most Americans who have no relatives with
Islit. The risk in most of the world is lower
than that, but it's higher than that in some
European countries.
