This is a picture from an Autosport story (about a fired Red Bull employee). I know the link says "pit gantry" but I'm curious if anyone can actually identify it.

Is it a car part? Or some tool? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the story so I wonder if it's just a filler photo.

Thanks, that picture really helps.

The light boom in the background of the first picture was throwing me off. My muddled mind thought it might be part of the nose or suspension structure on the car.
