Prescribed to the NFL Network to see this
game tonight. I haven't viewed the NFL Net-
work for the past couple of years. I'm very
impressed with their high quality analysts &
High Definition broadcast. Excellent.

Looking forward to keeping up with the NFL
via NFL Network broadcasts daily.

I didn't know that Joe Buck & Troy Aikman
were allowed to broadcast games for the
NFL Network being that they work full-time
for the Fox Network, but they did tonight,
another excellent move on the part of the
NFL Network.

Showing how little I know, the following art-
icle indicates Fox Sports is paying to broad-
cast the Thursday night games, but the game
actually appears on NFL Network, not Fox.

That article indicates only 7 games are exclu-
sively broadcast on NFL Network, & 11 games
in weeks 4 to 15 are simulcast on both Fox &
NFL Network. Hmmm, that article is from 2018,
not sure if that's still true here in 2021.

Announced at halftime, HBO 'Hard Knocks' will
be broadcasting the Colts season in this regular
season one hour episodes every week starting
every Wednesday night beginning on Nov 17th,
& the commentator said they would continue fol-
lowing the Colts once per week -if- they make it
to the playoffs.

Anyway, back to the game:

Great play by both offensive lines in protecting
their QBs.

Outstanding game, great play by both QBs, but
unfortunately for Washington's Heinicke, he mis-
takingly tried a pass near the 2 minutes left mark
that was intercepted by the Giants near the Wash-
ington 20 yard line. That occurred after he gave
Washington a 1 point lead with a great pass into ...

.... the end zone, and he played great all night ex-
cept for that one mistake. Giants kicked a field
goal to go ahead 29-27 with 2 minutes left. The
Giants unable to run any time off the clock, leav-
ing Washington plenty of time.

Heinicke redeems himself by moving Washington
downfield to set them in position to try a 48 yard
goal with 5 seconds left, field goal missed but the
Giants called for offsides. Retry from 43 yards out
with no time remaining, ball makes it thru scarily
close to the right upright (previous kick was right
of the right upright).
