Looks like The Yankees will miss Degrom as he pitches thursday, which makes sense for the Mets as they are in a long stretch of division games...bigger fish to fry, or at least more important fish. I dont think either team looks like a deep playoff team so far, but its just the difference in attitude.....Mets look like a bunch of kids having fun just playing the game, even in losses. The Yankees just look like a bunch of guys punching a clock....

What's lucky for the Mets is they don't have Wilpon around anymore. Do
you have any doubt deGrom would be wearing pinstripes in a couple
years under the Wilpon reign of terror? And of course, with nothing to

You sound like francesa who thinks the yankmes can get anyone they want. Francesa also said that about Harvey 5 years ago who no one wants now. Mostly i recall the Yankees getting former Mets stars who were past their prime......Gooden...Strawberry...same could be said in reverse, like the Mets getting Canoe. I definately agree with you about Wilpon tho. As for todays Yankees that "IBM business machine" like attitude really falls flat when you are a .500 team.....it comes off as they dont care. The Mets on the other hand look like a bunch of kids playing a sandlot game. When you are a bubble playoff contender team chemistry means a lot.....it doesnt mean so much if you can just "out-talent" everyone.
