Why do you repeatedly make such a tit of yourself?

Are you really suggesting that LH was quite happy with the situation
until /after/ he was overtaken?

I can believe you believe that. You really are a complete fuckwit.

Sorry, but I'm reporting the facts.

Hamilton showed the predilection to complain about things.

Made his unhappiness that the incident happened while at racing speed.

Complained (repeatedly) while behind the safety car, but not about this
incident.

And then suddenly, it becomes "manipulated" only after he lost his lead
and his last realistic opportunity to pass.

When it was happening—when he was being told that 5 cars would be
allowed to unlap themselves, there wasn't any response at all.

When he was told the safety car was coming in on the same lap: nothing.

So fact:

When this all went down, Hamilton made no complaint at all.

He certainly wasn't happy after he was overtaken by Verstappen, but he
was probably pretty focused until his last overtaking opportunity went
away, wouldn't you agree?

>
> I can believe you believe that. You really are a complete fuckwit.

I believe that he was complaining over the radio about other things.

But when he received the very late call that those 5 cars would unlap
themselves, he didn't so much as grunt in disgust.

I'm suggesting that he understood perfectly the way the game was played
and accepted the Race Director's call—probably in part because he
thought he could win anyway.

But if he thought the situation was being "manipulated" all along...

....why was there no complaint when that supposed manipulation was
actually happening?

Can you answer that?

HAM probably felt in his gut that he was a sitting duck once VER got the new softs while he was sitting on old hards.

If that's the case...

I've made no inferences at all, sunshine.

I've noted what actually happened.

Hamilton was chatty and complaining about everything except what you say
was such a terribly unfair thing.

He only complained that it was unfair after he failed to prevent
Verstappen from passing him and failed to retake the lead in the only
places on the last lap where it was possible.

Those are just facts.

But that's my point.

When the situation change, he was still behind the pace car in a
situation that didn't yet require high levels of focus.

And before the pace car pulled away...

saw it happening—all while behind the pace car...

....where was the need for his focus at that point?

But while still behind the pace car, he knew that he wouldn't HAVE a 12
second lead.

Yes, but expected to have a whatever-second lead with the lapped cars in
between, which would have been tenable for him - and *was* the call,
prior to the RD's subsequent change of heart.

Or would have expected to have the lapped cars let through and the SC to
pull in after the next lap as per the regs, or finish under the SC.

Liar. If you had not come to some inane conclusion you would not be
making such a ridiculous post.

You have made inferences about why he wasn't more vocal... if he
wasn't; that has not been established.

Neither have you established that he knew the regs were being ignored
in those few seconds between the lapped cars passing and the SC lights
going out.

What you have established is the known fact that you will grasp at
anything no matter how vacuous other than the irregular actions of the
RD in not following the SC regulations as he has strictly done
previously.

And you posted it because?

Remember, you concluded nothing...

Right. And he got the news that all those "expected"s weren't what was
going to happen...

....and he made no complaint. He didn't even question it.

That's what makes me wonder what precisely the teams and Race Director
had agreed beforehand.

Hamilton got the news that you say he wouldn't have expected to get
while he was still behind the safety car.

While behind the safety car, he'd been grousing about safety car speed
and asking about his situation with respect to Verstappen. He was even
told it might finish under safety car. Then that all changes and he has
nothing to say on the subject?

Come on.

That has been established. I watched the entire sequence from Latifi's
crash to the end of the racing from Hamilton's in-car feed...

....which includes all his radio messages.

>
> Neither have you established that he knew the regs were being ignored

Hamilton was informed that the 5 lapped cars would be let through at
1:37:50, and he sees the last go by at 1:38:06.

So now he knows (because his engineer just told him) that Verstappen
will be right behind him. Surely you're not arguing that Hamilton didn't
know just letting 5 cars through was unusual, right?

So why didn't he raise a question then?

Then the safety car coming in is told to him at 1:38:22, so he now knows
that he will be in a one lap race against Verstappen.

From the time he's told the safety car is coming in, he doesn't
actually begin racing until 30 seconds later, and still he makes no comment.

I've noted that the one person must affected by the unusual calls was
Hamilton and he knew about the calls at a time when it would have been
EASY for him to comment.

Prove it.

You have proven yourself dishonest and unreliable.

Why would he know whether it was unusual or not?

If the regs were followed he and Verstappen would cross the line under
the SC.
If anything the cars unlapping should not have concerned him. Rather
they should have confirmed him as the winner.

Moot. First you have to establish whether he knew something unusual was
happening that would affect the result.

So this is when he might really start thinking something is amiss...
but he would also be a little busy.

Do you remember some asshole inappropriately using the word omniscient
earlier; funny how such things come back to bite you.

Why? If you have no conclusion it is just worthless speculation.
