It was injury time with Galatasaray leading Trabzonspor 2-0. Just as thoughts might be turning to leaving early to beat the traffic, an announcement came over the tannoy: "Please don't leave your seats, we have a special guest for you..."

After the game the Galatasaray players celebrated in front of the ultras and clapped to acknowledge their support as is customary. But wait, who was the ultra leader orchestrating the chants and calling the players over by name? Well it wasn't an ultra leader at all, but in fact new signing Hakim Ziyech!

I thought this was a nice way to introduce a new signing as opposed to the usual anodyne press conference or throwaway social media post. Ziyech (apparently pronounced "Ziyach") certainly looked at home amongst the supporters and looked very happy to be here.
