Chargers game status report vs. Texans

OUT: TE Donald Parham (concussion)

QUESTIONABLE: S Derwin James (hamstring)

Brandon Staley on Derwin James: "I think he will be available for us to
play in this game.” But Staley added that it will be a game-time
decision and will see how Derwin’s hamstring is doing after his pregame
workout Sunday in Houston

CB Asante Samuel Jr. is out of the concussion protocol. Samuel will
start vs. Texans, per Brandon Staley.

DL Justin Jones has been placed on the COVID-19 list. Practice squad LB
Cole Christiansen has also been added to the COVID-19 list. That brings
Chargers total to 14 — 12 active roster and 2 practice squad.

Brandon Staley said everyone on COVID-19 list still has a chance to play
Sunday, besides Joey Bosa and Kemon Hall.
