Maybe we should just say fast and not sneaky fast anymore, because this isnt the first time i have seen him out run an NFL SECONDARY, looking like hes faster than any guy on the D.....maybe he doesnt have the moves of a Jackson or as smooth as Wilson, but he is fast. Even that run when the turf monster got him.....thats a Giant record for longest run by a QB in their almost 100 year history

I think I read once that he timed out faster than those other quarterbacks who are obviously more elusive than him. But he is faster on a straight ahead run.

Yes and i dont think you can go by underwear 40 times at a combine, some guys are just faster....or slower...in pads.

Some guys are just faster or slower in pads--that reminds me of a comment I once heard Eli say about Victor Cruz. He may run a 4.6, but no one ever caught him from behind. I think ai have heard a similar speed comment about Jerry Rice.
