Ver crossing the line or not?

To me it looks like he did.
If it is so important to know, why don't have that multi billion organization
no camera's on it?

Issue was raised, timely, and never got traction.

The actual positions of the front and rear tires breached last years
International Sporting Code, which was still reflected in the Race
Director's Notes for the event (cut-and-paste from last year). However
they did not breach the current ISC, so the protest was rejected. See
the official document:

So their official documents were contradictory. Insert face-palm emoji
here.

Sometimes I get the impression that the FIA couldn't organise a fuck-up
in a brothel.

One question that remains is why there was a need to change that rule in
the ISC? What was so wrong with it that needed to be changed? Who
proposed the change, with what justification, and who signed off on it?
Are they trying to force teams to employ more bookworms and fewer
engineers? Is the aim now the pinacle of language-lawyering rather than
the pinacle of motorsport?

Anyway, looking forward to more jolly hijinx from the ghost of Masi
later in the season. Can we have comic sound effects next time please.

Booioioioioing!
Phil

To some of us, the incompetence and corruption of the FIA (and other
similar organizations) is completely unsurprising.

What's amusing is that there are those who point to actions of the FIA
from time to time...

....AS IF THEY WERE COMPETENT.

:-)
