Last week, Tampa went for a 2 point conversion at the end of the game
because the most likely way for the Jets to come back was to block a PAT
attempt. Good coaches know not to take unnecessary risks.

The only reason Bisaccia called for a field goal at the end was that
Staley pissed him off. Carr said as much after the game, saying the
timeout changed their mindset. He didn't say from what to what, but I
think it is clear.

Someone needs to ask Staley 2 questions:

(1) If the sitations were switched, and you had the opportunity to go to
the playoffs by kneeling as time runs out, and the only risk was that
they might block your field goal attempt, would you attempt a field
goal?

(2) Do you think Bissacia can figure the situation as well?

Calling a time out was a stupid move and erased all the hard work put in by everyone during this long season. I hope he can sleep at night knowing he's the sole reason the team is not playing next week. And what happened during the FG? Nobody tried to block the try. I would have preferred being blown out.
