Yes, with the money Bosa is getting and Mack will be getting as soon as
the trade is official, the Chargers' other rushers are going to have to
be cheap. Rumph and Egbule qualify, but they need a #3 who is more
accomplished than those two.

Based on the list of Chargers who are free agents, the team has about 15
holes to fill. That's a lot. A few may come from the draft, but there
are several players I hope they can re-sign.

Players I think the Chargers really should re-sign:

TE Stephen Anderson
OG Oday Aboushi
DL Justin Jones
LB Kyzir White (although Popper says that it will be harder to fit him
in financially after taking on Mack's big contract)

Players the Chargers should also try to re-sign, unless a better option
presents itself:

Edge Kyler Fackrell
K Dustin Hopkins
LS Matt Overton
KR/PR Andre Roberts

And then there's the question of what to do about RB Justin Jackson,
who's good when healthy but not healthy often enough.

Even re-signing all these players leaves them with holes at NT (Joseph),
CB (Harris), TE (Cook) and punter (Ty Long).

And another hole at RT, since (1) they will almost definitely release
Bulaga and save $10M against the cap; (2) I don't think they will
re-sign Storm Norton, who was terrible in the Raiders game and has had
two years to improve; and (3) Pipkins looked improved enough to be the
swing tackle next season, but I wouldn't want to rely on him to start.
That's five holes to fill, although there's always a chance they might
re-sign Cook or Long.
