Ignore the headline writers "Star" that is way overboard. But PFF has Thomas rated as the 8th best tackle, further evidence people shouldn't label any kid a bust til after year 3. Drafts can't even be graded til after year 3 IMO. And sometimes it works the OPPOSITE way (Robert Griffin 3rd says hi) where they come out like a ball on fire and burn out. I also read Thomas didnt practice, problem with his foot.

I don't think it's a coincidence that as Thomas has improved so has Jones. I don't care who the QB is, without an OL you have nothing.

And remember Thomas wasnt even supposed to be thrown in at LT last year but Solder opted out. He was gonna cut his teeth at RT. But after he took his lumps last year maybe he is the better for it in year 2. People forget this is still very YOUNG team, these things take time....what was Aikman in his first year with that Cowgirl team that became a mini dynasty? 1-15? I guess these kids are expected to be all=pros straight out of college these days but the reality is this RARELY happens. And the fact is there is way more BUSTS than all-pros. All that being said i do not think there was any excuse to start 0-3, this team is supposed to be better than that. Especially defensively, we knew the offense was still a WIP.
