This is from Daniel Popper's (The Athletic) report on today's Chargers
practice:

The Chargers opened team periods with red zone seven-on-seven. Justin
Herbert found tight end Donald Parham Jr. in the front corner of the end
zone from 20 yards out on the second rep. Herbert sensed a mismatch with
corner Bryce Callahan defending Parham, and Parham used his big frame to
shield off Callahan and haul in the touchdown. Parham is having a great
camp, and it is clear he will once again be a prominent piece in the
Chargers’ downfield passing attack.

This is very positive news on Parham. He seems to be fully recovered.

I thought he was a monster in the USFL and was delighted when the Chargers
picked him up. The guy was made for the red zone.

I was confused as hell by your post until I looked him up and realized you meant the XFL.

My bad. I thought the XFL died in 2001 and didn't notice the new "league"
