I am sick of this crappy baseball they are serving up.
I am sick of 7 inning games
I am sick of 5 inning pitchers being called cy young canidates
I am sick of 4 double headers in a week
I am sick of steroid induced Kyle Swabber HRs
I am sick of announcers doing remotes..

I am sick of 20 minute at bats, and digital displays all over the
screen, the DH, extreme shifts, and a game that looks more like a video
game than a sport

I forgot I the free dobule in extra innings, the fake intentional walk,
the armour all over the hitter, the fake radar guns where everyone is
now a 100MPH pitcher, teams with 110 loss seasons, the death of the
double play, the replay rule, and preventing the play at the plate...

I am sure I can think of more.

It's definitely not the baseball we grew up with. Today it's all home
runs and strikeouts. I get pissed with all the changes too, but still
I watch; so it must still hold some allure. Many of my best memories
of youth were spent at Shea Stadium.

I should add, while we need to adapt,
But given the choice, I'd agree with you.
I would also like to return to starting the season
a later, and far fewer games in extreme cold weather.

But, I'm sure our grand fathers would have preferred the game played with pancake gloves.
