In his career year, 29, in his prime, the guy hit .262, 18 home runs, a career-best 58 RBIs, 57 runs,
while being one of the slowest runners in the game.

I sorta get the love for Flores by certain fans since he had some cool moments with the Mets. But objectively, he's a SLIGHTLY above-average hitter (105 career OPS+), HORRIBLE on defense and yes, one of the slowest runners in the league. A couple of years ago, according to Fangraphs, he was the slowest non-catcher in baseball.
