Well they duplicated that game plan against Tua. I guess their defensive philosophy is if you are facing an accurate passer who does not have great arm strength, just let him complete every short pass. Tua was 21-24 in the first half. He had some incompletions in the second half, but when it came to crunch time when the Giants theoretically had a chance to tie the game and send it into OT if they got the ball back, he completed every third down pass.

I agree the D was playing to loose in the 1st half..... but in second half they had FOUR 3 and outs in a ROW!!!!! WITH THE GAME STILL AT 10-3 OR 10-6 AND LOADS OF TIME LEFT!!!!
And the offense didnt do shit!
When was last time a Giants D had 4 3 and outs in a row? 2016? 1986?

With this offense, they need more than 3 and outs from the defense. They need turnovers, especially if they can give them great field position. a pick 6 or 2 would also help immensely

I would not be surprised if the Giants defense is top 10 after this game, at least on the analytics site i use rankings, they were #11 coming in.....thats even AFTER the very slow start on D, last 6 weeks they may be a TOP 5 D....like i said its the 70's all over again... horrid offense, good defense...
