So, I'm watching an episode of the CW show
called Riverdale (season 6, episode 10), and
granted, in the realm of fantasy they're prone
to concoct impossibilities as realities, but in
my opinion, the following segment of this TV
show drifted into the realm of unfathomably
poor scriptwriting (in my opinion).

The following, they should've used tempera-
tures along the lines of 103 degrees, 105 de-
grees, 107 degrees.

Script excerpts: "... You're 119 degrees, Cheryl."
.... "She's at 262 degrees." ... "303 degrees."

Fact: "The maximum body temperature a human
can survive is 108.14°F. At higher temperatures
the body turns into scrambled eggs: proteins are
denatured and the brain gets damaged irreparably."

Obviously, their "scrambled eggs" reference was
a metaphor not meant to be taken literally.

Reminds me of the Picard fantasy last episode. Of
course, the theme in the entire season was time tra-
vel, so that in and of itself is at the extreme edge
but is a common sci-fi theme. Within that show, a
character with powers of defiance of physical laws
(Q) supposedly atones for all his destructive inter- ...

.... ference in Picard's life by bringing 2 characters
back to life toward the end of the episode.

As mentioned previously, the fantasy of people be-
ing on the edge of buildings just a step away from
falling to their death, often appears, though that in
the past happened often in real life, just view some
of the pictures from the building of the Empire State
Building, guys pictured at heights with no safety har- ...

..... nesses, close to 100% of that shown in the enter-
tainment industry is not actually happening. Now, for-
tunately, building codes require safety harnesses for
those working at heights, but from time to time folks
go near ledges that place them at risk of falling to their
death (see the following for examples of that).

Per the following article, it appears that only 5
construction workers died during the construc-
tion of the Empire State Building, as a result of
slip and fall incidents or being struck by large
materials. Another 50 people may have been
injured.

I suffered from depression from age 8 to age 50,
it almost causing my death, but fortunately, I got
help by checking into a hospital, prescribed a life-
saving combination of Mirtazapine & Wellbutrin XL,
which cured my depression that has never returned
(last 17 years depression-free).

Finding help for that, it took me a long time, and
it's unlikely that Evelyn would've been able to get
the medical help she needed to stay alive, the type
of medical help that saved me.

Recently, Selena Gomez was diagnosed with a
serious depression disorder called bipolar dis-
order, and to the best of my knowledge is taking
medication to deal with that successfully.

The following article says there have been over
30 suicide attempts from the Empire State Build-
ing, 2 of those the attempts were from the 86th
floor but the individuals landed on the 85th floor
and were saved.

was lost in a fog crashed into the north side of

If one can be accurately diagnosed with bipolar
disorder and get relief from that without medica-
tion(s), it appears to be extremely rare if that ever
happens over a long period of time. Put another
way, it probably never happens.

Elsewhere, it's mentioned that people with bipolar
disorder who fail to take their medication(s) re-
experience the bipolar disorder that their medica-
tion(s) had relieved them from experiencing the
adverse downsides of having it.

It's variable the amount of time without taking
the bipolar disorder medication(s) that it takes
for the adverse consequences to happen.

It's also mentioned elsewhere that bipolar disor-
der is a lifelong condition.

Fantasy: Fog doesn't cause power outages.

Fact: To my surprise, when watching Riverdale
episode 12 of season 6, when they said that
a heavy fog would cause power outages, I
scoffed and thought "What were the writers
thinking?" Turns out, the writers were right.

Per the following search, fog (the search men-
tions heavy fog & freezing fog) can cause power
outages, something I was unaware of 'til search-
ing & finding out about it:
