Wow, former Charger CB Jason Verrett is on the 49ers? Did not know that. Though not surprised to see him on the injury report unfortunately. He had a lot of potential but just could not stay on the field.

Yes, he signed with the 49ers in 2019, after being injured the entire
2018 season while still with the Chargers. Unfortunately he's only been
healthy one year since then, and hasn't played this season yet:

Overall he's only been able to play 40 games in 8 1/2 seasons. It's
really a shame.

Who was that safety the Chargers signed at the end of his career, he was

Unreal: #49ers CB Jason Verrett tore his Achilles and is out for the
season. The injury happened yesterday in practice.
