More than once this season I had thought that either team had thrown ball
games, or that the umps and replay system is corrupted.

Years ago, I had a friend who is now deceased, who swore he thought
basketball of corrupt. He died shortly after that but proved to be right
as the officials where caught in a point shaving scheme.

We have gambling now all over the sport and when you see a game like
tonight, where the opposition just throws the game away, seemingly in
extra innings on a huge night, you are left scratching your head and
wondering.
