Yea, I agree. I’ll shut up for now but I do have hindsight on my side. I’m on the record as saying Grier should have stayed at #3 and got Kyle Pitts and drafted one of the big three RB’s at #18. He had a shot at both so no excuses. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

For the record, I wanted one of the top 4 WRs, an Edge, and an OG/OT in
the 1st two rounds. Got all three. Not always the NAMES I wanted, but
won't complain about the positions focus. Wouldn't call it "perfect,"
but A-/A as far as filling needs. No idea about specific players.

I'm no expert on the players, so I'll just hope they got it right (as usual).
If there are that many 'experts' saying they did well, hopefully that shows itself when they put pads and helmets on.

Clearly the brain trust believes that the problems in the running game
last year were more the result of opponents stacking the box than the
runners themselves. They are banking on the threat of two speedsters in
Fuller and Waddle to open up rushing lanes. We'll see.

Most of the pundits agree it was a very good draft.

I like the fact that they addressed our biggest needs (hopefully). I've
especially warmed up to the Holland pick.

Grier trolled us with a 7th round RB, I'm sure.
