It's amazing how things are going the Chargers' way right now. Amazing
only because it seems like only bad things happen to the Chargers. The
Ravens just lost to Pittsburgh, moving the Chargers into the 5th seed on
the basis of the tiebreaker with the Ravens.

The offense and defense are finally coming together, while special teams
remain strong. Having Williams, Allen and Parham available makes the
passing offense so much better. And they help block for the running game.

The one concern remains run defense. Where do those huge gaps in the
defense come from?

Bosa didn't seem to accomplish much today but it was great to see him
out on the field.

Herbert is such a star.

Is Ekeler really that fast to have pull-away speed? And Kelley is
finally finding himself.

Feiler had a solid game today after a season of mostly regression.

This is just great.

Yeah, it's really strange how literally every result has gone the Chargers' way the last few weeks. After losing to the Raiders, they were still technically in control of their destiny but looked like they were more likely to miss the playoffs again. Between the turnaround in the Chargers' defense (other than the run game weakness you pointed out) and the way other games have gone, they've now reached the point where they claim the 5th seed with either a win against the lowly Broncos or a Ravens' loss to Cincinnati. That means they'd be playing the AFC South winner, who can be no better than 9-8. It's likely the Jags win at home against the reeling Titans so the Chargers probably get a shot at revenge for the beatdown Jacksonville laid on them in week 3.
