Yes what a cool night in sports....Rangers getting a standing ovation after the first period, crowd goes crazy when they put Eli and his kids up on the Jumbotron. And i'm from Jersey and i never knew about St. Peters! I remember years ago Seton Hall made that run.....but at least people who lived in Jersey knew Seton Hall!

Wow Elis kids musta been "Dad what did you walk on water?" ha ha. But it STILL IS the last major sports championship in tri-state area. Plus the Rangers fans were jacked last night, Garden was rocking.

Well, the Rangers won, but it took until overtime in a game that should have easily won.

St. Peters was never in it, too bad. I don't really care about the final four now. It's just a bunch of freshmen who probably never go to classes as opposed to St. Peters who have players who are juniors and seniors. Do any of the players on these major college basketball teams ever graduate?

I was getting 8.5 with St Pete still no help. Shoulda known better the clock was gonna strike 12 sooner or later....I like how Gallant is very matter of fact in his pressers, he just said it like it is, its hard to get up mentally for every game in an 82 game season.....thats why you see wins vs Pitt, Tampa and Carolina but loss to Jersey and close call vs Buffalo....we call them "trap games" in the NFL. But there is many more in the NHL because the much longer schedule. That game vs Pitt was literally the best game the Rangers have played in years, considering the quality of opponent, the time of year and the domination....No Shesterkin bailout needed in that one at all....Most coaches would give a Joe Judge central casting "We can't have these let downs versus lesser teams!"....Gallant is just calmly like "Fuck it, it happens, long schedule, burn the tape".
