With all that went on in yesterday's game,
including the blown non-pass-interference
call preventing CeeDee Lamb from catch-
ing a critical pass, the blame for yesterday's
loss is placed on Dak Prescott by Skip Bay-
less (with a tidbit of blame on McCarthy).

He asserts Dak isn't a "big game Quarter-
back". Not sure about that as that would
take a lot of research but Kirk Cousins
comes to mind, a QB many considered
"not a big game Quarterback" 'til this sea-
son, lo & behold, he's led the Vikings to ...

.... many wins in big games (the latest
being the scarily close game @ the Bills).
Of course, Skip's other complaint, against
the Cowboys head coach, one can't help
but wonder if the Vikings bringing in a
new head coach is what has led to ...

.... Cousins & the Vikings having the best
winning season of Kirk's career & of the
Vikings (thus far, since their 13-3 record
the year before Kirk joined the Vikings).

Problems Skip failed to mention:

o Quarterbacks for the most part get too
much credit for wins & too much blame
for losses.

o The Cowboys vaunted 'D' had their
worst game of the year, their 2nd straight
game allowing over 200 rushing yards,
the Cowboys now ranked 4th-worst in
the league in rushing yards allowed, ...

.... one would be logically justified in saying
that the Cowboys have a near-zero chance
of success in the playoffs if their players/
coaches fail to find a fix for that glaring
weakness.

o Also unmentioned, the Cowboys vaunted
'D' allowing over 400 yards for the first time
this season, weak in both rush defense &
pass defense.

In addition to Dak-blame, Skip also men-
tioned the facts that

o Aaron Rodgers is a Cowboys-killer, & thanks
to the Cowboys weak rush defense Aaron had
that benefit to boost Aaron's passing game,
making their rookie WR Watson look like an
All-Pro.

o The Cowboys penalty problem, 9 in the game
but most notably their penalties in overtime.
