We know how Mel Kiper rates each teams draft---by how close it was to his draft. And how many of these "experts" had Willis as the first quarterback off the board, some as high as the pick by Detroit second in the first round..

Again it takes 3 years to know, the grades that come out monday before these kids even PRACTICE is LAUGHABLE....that is the exact reason i say the draft while obviously important is way over rated, these assholes jumping up and down or booing dont know SHIT when its proven the people employed by the teams are wrong half the time on the high picks even......even more so they whiff on the lower rounds but thats to be expected.... and ocassionally once in a generation you get a Brady or a Warner....

You can't even grade after one year....if you did RG2.5 would have been HOF and Thomas a bust and Beckton the second coming of Anthony Munoz......shit how long did it take Leo to live up to his draft status? Sometimes it matters if its a fit or not (need), i dont see how Mac Jones is any more talented than Daniel Jones, its just Mac landed on a stable team with grade A coaching. And i think if Kiwanuka wasnt drafted by a team LOADED with d-lineman he coulda been all pro....we didnt need him, so we put him out of position at LB.

I just listened to some pre-draft talk by Florio and Simms. Florio said the over/under on quarterbacks taken in the first round was 2.5. He took the OVER figuring three would be taken. Simms was closer to being right as he would have won the bet as he said two would be taken.

Yes and they were saying Pit is perfect fit for Pickett.....but also it does seem to justify giving DJ another year too... then revisit drafting a QB next draft depending on how well DJ does. I'm sure Trubisky isnt thrilled tho! Like i said Dj just being middle of the pack may not be good enough, he will prolly have to be top 10 to keep his job...you see it all over even teams that go deep into playoffs like the Rams and SF were not satisfied with Goff and Jimmy G....but doesnt have to be a new kid as Stafford proved, just put a vet on the right team, which is what cleve is thinking with sex feind and ejecting Baker...
