Surely someone has brought up the notion
that playoff game locations should be based
solely on regular season win-loss records &
not simply doled out to the 2nd-4th best win-
loss records of Division winners.

Tampa Bay, the only playoff participant with
a losing record, tied for the 14th-worst rec-
ord in the league with 2 other teams not in
the playoffs (Patriots & Packers) yet they get
to host a playoff game with an 8-9 record ...

.... whereas the team they're playing, the Dal-
las Cowboys, have the 7th-best record in the
league, the 3rd-best record in the NFC.

Seems seriously flawed, to me, easy to fix by
simply having the 3 teams with the 2nd-4th
best records in a conference host the 3 Wild
Card playoff games.

You have to win whomever or wherever you play!
Maybe your stupid ass doesn't know but Dallas is the favorite.
I guess somehow if (Dallas loses) you have your built-in excuse on standby.
I don't see them losing this game.

disclaimer I would hope that I lose my money, I rather lose 1,000 bucks and be happy that all these jerk-ass Cowboy cockroach fans are miserable, scratch that more than 28 years miserable

Yes, & in your reply below, you didn't express an
opinion regarding changing NFL rules so that a
wild card team with a better record than the 4th
seed playoff team should host the Wild Card game,
this year that would be Dallas, a 12-5 record, host-
ing the Bucs, an 8-9 record.

> Maybe your [skip dlsism] doesn't know but Dallas

Dallas currently favored by 2.5 points,
the 2nd-lowest favorite in the 6 wild
card games:

> I guess somehow if (Dallas loses) you have your

You may recall my reaction to the loss to
the Coms & your stance that was basically
"no one should care about that", so if the
Cowboys lose, & if you're betting on them
to win (which you've said elsewhere), hard
to predict what your reaction will be, but
mine would be disappointment.

> I don't see them losing this game.

Obviously, if you're betting on them to win.
> disclaimer I would hope that I lose my money,

Uh-oh, now you're claiming that you're bet-
ting on them to win but hoping they'll lose.
Odd stance, but hey, to each his or her own.

> I rather lose 1,000 bucks and be happy that

Dallas, one of 14 teams with a chance. Unfor-
tunately for the 18 teams not in the playoffs
& the 13 teams that won't win the Super Bowl,
only 3.125% of NFL teams' fans will be happy,
& 96.875% of the NFL teams' fans are either ...

.... already dissatisfied or will be dissatisfied at
some point in the playoffs/Super Bowl.

Patriots fans like you, for example, are already
dissatisfied.

It's that sour chowda.
