Ever since the picks have been slotted contract-wise the ONLY reason for a rookie to hold out is if they do not want to play for the team like Eli, altho the Eli thing was pre slotted contracts. The owners got tired of shelling out 100 million for busts and the vets were not happy about it either......but now young guys in there 3rd year who are already stars are getting ripped off. Its a big nothing burger Schoen knew exactly what he needed to sign his picks there is no mystery, and guess who got cut? Not his new toys, it was Bradbury....

Its especially bad for RBs who are now finding it hard to cash in after their Rookie contracts are up.....they are considered used up and replaceable by then! Look at the ballad of Leveon Bell...the best all around back in the league couldnt get a long term contract with Pitt so he holds out instead of playing for the franchise tag number.....and by the time he got out of Pitt he was a shell of himself tho still a young guy not even 30 yet...
