Yep its true but hard to believe after being left for dead down 3 games to 1 vs Pitt. I guess Tampa fans are hoping they are well rested while the Rangers are coming off 2 grueling 7 game contests. The way I look at it is hell, the Rangers played their best games of the playoffs in 3 of the last 4 games including just obliterating the Carolina home Ice code, so shit.... get right back out there and keep it going....

Thats why the cup is so hard to get......after 2 brutal 7 gamers only halfway there..in '94 we had an easy first 2 rounds.....then it got hard...but the east was so closely matched this year all 8 seeds...dunno how the Panthers laid an egg vs Tampa (bad goaltending?)....anyway the Panthers were the presidents trophy winners!....but thats my point there really was no huge fave in the east. In the west i guess the Avs were, but the way edmonton is rolling i wouldnt count them out.....any 4 teams can win this thing.
