Cohen is making the Wilpons look like gueniuses. How can a 100+ win
team be ripped apart so quickly?

It wasn't that good on paper. Deep down you knew it couldn't compete
when they were dropping games to bottom feeders in the late summer.

The team matured (in way of payroll) before its time. Now, to keep the
pieces you have, you'll need to spend above the tax limit.
