Yes, Dak's great playoff game last night
was Dak's best playoff game passer-rating
in history. A sign of good things to come?
Hopefully, yes, but that remains to be seen.

However, including the 97 regular season
games with Dak's 5 playoff games, last
night's game was tied for the 3rd-best
passer-rating game in Dak's 7-year 102
games career thus far:

Upon reflection, the fact remains that Dak
had an amazing rookie debut, a reminder
that from time to time, QBs selected later
than the 3rd round (like Tom Brady, a 6th
rounder in 2000, Tony Romo, a college
free agent in 2004, Dak Prescott, a 4th ...

.... rounder in 2016, & Brock Purdy, the
last pick in the 7th round in 2022) have
great careers as QB starters. Brock, of
course, too early to determine if he will
have a great career, but he sure has had
a great start.

Tom Brady, of course, the greatest QB
in NFL history. Tony Romo, unfortunately
unable to get the Cowboys past the Divi-
sional round of the playoffs.
