That had to be one of the stupidest contracts of all time cleveland gave him.....not like they got him cheap they backed up the brinks truck....if you are gonna take a gamble like that at least get a good deal. That said i don't think he gets full year, he just fucked hookers not like he held any of these chicks at gun point. Didnt do any thing Robert Kraft didnt do, just he seemed to be addicted to it so he is now an easy gold digger target....everything in moderation Deshaun!

And lets not forget these "allegations".... altho it is startling how many, are going to CIVIL court (re: for monetary damages), or more than likely will be settled out of court whether these were actual legit massage therapists or not...... the CRIMINAL complaints could not even bring an indictment, never mind a conviction (so you have to assume there was a serious lack of evidence since its easier to indict than convict someone). No way cleveland touches him if this was not the case.

Everyone knew this suspension was coming. I'll never understand that
contract, but it sort of makes sense of why Baker Mayfield is still in a
Browns' uniform. If this suspension is for one year, they'd have to be
fools not to have him as their starter; unless they get bowled over with
a trade offer (highly unlikely).

but do you really want to go to war with a lame duck QB? not me. Baker will be playing for his next contract, not the browns.

And according to this article Carolina and Cleveland are close to a deal.....its legit its CBS sports, not "Big Brown View". Guess Carolina would rather go with the semi bust (Baker) than the total bust (Darnold).
