His picks were Dallas Green, Art Howe, and Joe Torre. Torre was by all
indications a good, decent man who was in the right place at the right
time with those great Yankee teams in the mid-90s yo early-00s. However
his time with the Mets only proves that a manager is only as good as the
players he has. His tenure with the Mets was a disaster.
