(corrected re-post as I mentioned an 8th
straight Divisional playoff loss; actually,
the latest loss was just their 7th straight
Divisional playoff loss - let's not count
our Cowboys Divisional playoff losses
before they're hatched, corrected below)

August 11 2022
Michael Irvin says he fears an Eagles dynasty?
https://groups.google.com/g/alt.sports.football.pro.dallas-cowboys/c/A1FhYLArxoQ/m/ZvHS7iasBQAJ

~~~
Then again, in that same thread on
August 20 2022 Michael said
https://groups.google.com/g/alt.sports.football.pro.dallas-cowboys/c/A1FhYLArxoQ/m/iivmyrwKBwAJ
“If the Dallas Cowboys clean up these
penalties, they will be chasing the (un-
defeated) 1972 Miami Dolphins. When
you got the No. 1 offense, clean up these
penalties, they will be chasing the 1972
Dolphins. Did I say something crazy?”
---
After their 7th straight Divisional Playoff
loss & their 2nd straight playoff loss to
the 49ers, & Dak's 16th & 17th intercep-
tions since the start of the season, yes,
Michael said something crazy.
No. Would Amari have been the difference-
maker to fix Dak's turnoveritis? As docu-
mented in the following, Dak has gone 36
straight games from the end of 2019, 2020,
2021, & 2022 without 2 straight games hav-
ing no turnovers, & Amari was with the ...
.... Cowboys for 9 games in 2019 & almost
all of 2020 & 2021, so Amari didn't solve
that Dak turnoveritis back then.
Also, it's easy to keep a player on a team if
there's no salary cap to deal with, but deal-
ing with a salary cap is a severe restriction
that forces talented teams to make tough
decisions regarding players they can & can't
afford.
Duh stoopid is..
Cooper better than James Washington, TY, Gallup!!
Fact.
Despite no. 1 offense they needed another weapon!!
Fact..
Pollard went down they needed another weapon.
Anybody with a clue knows the 2nd int was Dak staring CD down, the DB jumped the short route because he knew a LB was also in the area.. Hence another weapon Dak might not force a pass to CD..
~> ... Cooper better James Washington,
~> TY, Gallup!! ...
You're proposing time travel & trying to keep
Cooper on the team last year even though he
refused to renegotiate his deal & he had some
shortcomings which are displayed above &
below which you pretend don't exist.
As for your implied stance that Cooper would
magically fix Dak's turnover issues, you've ig-
nored the fact that Dak's turnover issues (i.e.,
not having 2 consecutive games without a
turnover) were end of 2019 to 2022, 36 ...
.... straight games, & Cooper was a Cowboy
2019 to 2021. Didn't solve Dak's turnover is-
sues then, & with Cooper's shortcomings
clearly displayed on a comparison of his
stats with CeeDee's in 2022 (see above),
doubtful he'd have been able to solve Dak's ...
.... issues in 2022. Also, if a player refuses
to renegotiate his deal, how does a team
keep him?
From a post I made Feb 22 2022:
Top 101 Players from 2021 Season?
https://groups.google.com/g/alt.sports.football.pro.dallas-cowboys/c/gaN6RMzPh98/m/Z9elvhOMAQAJ
....
[CeeDee ranked 7th-best WR & Amari
not listed among the 14-best WRs]
Notable Missing Cowboys
....
2. Highest Paid Wide Receiver Amari Cooper, rum-
ored to be likely to be cut or possibly traded. He
only missed 3 games in 2021 (I thought he missed
more than that for some reason) & had a decent
year although his refusal to get vaccinated may
play a role in his trade or release.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CoopAm00/gamelog/2021/advanced/
Some concerns about Amari that you've either
forgotten about or don't care about, listed in
the following link which was included in the
post above, including the games he missed
because he caught Covid after refusing to be
vaccinated against it:
Ok Mrs. GM.
You take TY, Noah Brown, and Gallup.
I"ll take Amari.
I bet Jerry takes advice from numb nuts like you.
