The Warriors were blitzed by the Grizzlies Wednesday night in Memphis.

To add injury to insult, Otto Porter Jr. missed the second half of the
game with right foot soreness. The Warriors announced just after
halftime that he’d miss the rest of the game.

Porter played 13 minutes but didn’t record any points, rebounds or
assists — perhaps an indication that he was bothered by the discomfort.
He took and missed three shots, all 3-pointers.

It’s not clear yet whether Porter’s injury will keep him out for Friday
night’s Game 6 at Chase Center after the Grizzlies won 134-95.

Mike Brown — acting as head coach with Steve Kerr out with COVID — did
not have a postgame update on Porter’s status.

Porter had been a key player off the bench for Golden State in Game 3
and 4, both wins for the Warriors in San Francisco. He scored 13 points
in 24 minutes Saturday night, then kept the Warriors alive Monday night
with his shooting, scoring 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range.

He also offers size and length on the defensive end to match up with
Memphis’ athletic big men.

Porter played 63 games in the regular season, averaging 8.2 points in
22.2 minutes. He’s played all 10 postseason games for the Warriors,
averaging 5.3 points in 22.6 minutes entering Wednesday.
