But even if that field goal was good I still would have been happy with their effort. I want to root for a competitive team and they were that.

first half no, second half yes...and frankly same holds true even with the W....first half was as Yogi said "Deja vu all over again".

Even the 1st half they weren't that bad. The D was good and kept them in the game and the offense was just coming up a little short to keep drives going. The special teams were the ones that almost cost them the game.

The oline couldn't even block....they were coming up just short because they were in 3rd and longs because the oline was putting them in them with sacks and penalties and any defense will let you complete a "just short" 3rd down! They are guarding the sticks. i mean they scored ZERO! There is your first clue how bad it was! But i agree the defense played ok and i said as much in my halftime post...
