Thats great.....now if we can only get the guys on the inside to block....first game i thought the journey guys (the new c and 2 guards) blocked well vs run but bad vs the pass....the 2nd game i thought they were sub par in both run and pass blocking....unless the Girls move Parsons to the middle.....which they may at times...he well be matched vs our 2 studs and not our jouneymen....great test for them, you almost think if Parsons gets a sack or 2 thats ok, just dont let him ruin the game with a strip sack or 3 or 4 sacks....

That's why it takes years to evaluate a draft. Where are all the so called experts that had Thomas written off as a bust and the worst tackle taken in the first round. Remember Thomas had a tough start due to limitations from covid. There was little practice time or pre season games.

I think most astute fans regarded his rookie season as a bust but found
he made a vast improvement last year. This year (after 2 games) he
appears to take it up another level. Time will tell

Thats exactly right.....a rookie is a rookie covid or no covid.....rare is the rookie....at ANY position, that comes into the NFL and is an allstar first year...at one time people realized that but now with the draft so overrated and ALL FANS think the guy they draft in the first round will "be the guy" when research shows 50% of them end up busts or underachievers...IMO the 3rd year is make or break if they havent made it already, The only reason DJ is getting this 4th year is because no QBs worth a shit (at least on paper) deserved to be drafted as high as the Giants picked......TWICE even. So far so good for the win loss record.....but they need to be better on offense for DJ to get a new contract, lot of time left if he stays healthy tho, and he is still learning the new O, but i dunno about these receivers Or the rest of the oline besides Thomas ... but the more they win the lower they fall in the draft, which also helps DJ.
