For some reason, some can't wait to predict
the final 53-man roster even though it's a long
way 'til preseason games & any one of the 4
predicted to fail can prove themselves worthy
between now & the final cutdown.

Nevertheless, here are 4 Cowboy vets who
Randy Gurzi thinks won't make it to the final
53-man roster (April 2 2023):

Between now and then, injuries will play a role
as well as who the Cowboys draft & who the
Cowboys sign as college free agents. In addi-
tion, the possibility of signing 1 or more vet
free agents is still in the mix.

The Cowboys have the 13th largest salary cap
space available at $13,138,500, & they'll have
slightly over $5 million more when Zeke's cut
takes effect on June 1.

If better players are drafted, JessHaynie
thinks 2 of the 4 players Randy Gurzi men-
tioned on April 2nd (CB Nahshon Wright &
OT Josh Ball) may not make it to the 53-
man roster & he also has doubts about the
following 3 players making it to the 53-man
roster:

o CB Jourdan Lewis
o CB Kelvin Joseph
o DT Neville Gallimore
