Jones should have gotten offensive player of the week for being able to keep his team even close.

True Ernie.....history will just remember it as "that guy was a bum" not "he never had a chance with 3 different systems/coaches and shit players around him" ......unless he goes to another team and redeems himself (assuming he doesnt defy all odds and make chicken salad out of chicken shit and signs with the Giants)...and other QBs have, but usually its early in their career (Favre, Steve Young, to some extent Testaverde) you usually don't see a guy become franchise that late, Baker, Winston and Trubisky are trying that now....in fact Phil was one of the oldest i remember to become franchise, but different era of course...Craig Morton with Denver but that didnt last long, few years doesnt make a franchise QB.

And oh yeah.....I guess you can say Plunkett had a pretty good career with Raiders after crapping out as a high pick with New England..but point being it is few and far between for "second chance high pick QB's"....i guess you can say Goff is trying too but you can't say Goff didnt have a good team originally, and even Baker for that matter.
