I just can't see enough difference on this team between now and when they killed us last year. So unfortunately....

Bills 34

Miami 17

I think it will be 21-3 at halftime.

Sure hope I'm wrong.

I can't disagree so I hope we're both very wrong.

Damn. I bet a dollar on the Dolphins winning outright. If you guys are right I may not be able to afford my bean and cheese burrito next Monday.

As I expected, the SF/PHI game is on here in PA, but it's as well. It sounds like Tua got hurt very early, and they're killing us!

Total embarrassment, by a team that cannot draft to save their life. To field an O line like this is inexcusable. High school team.

Got Tua pummeled. Brisset barely survived. Jackson looks worse every time he steps on the field. Davis is a backup tackle at best.

In the last several years, they've had ONE tackle play passably well, Hunt. So what do they do? Move him to guard. At this point, the Dolphins have not demonstrated that they have an NFL caliber tackle on the roster.

A ton of draft capital spent on OL, almost no results.

Maybe they need to put two extra tackles on the field in place of receivers.

Someone is going to get seriously injured.

Proposed new Offensive lineup... 2TE, 4OT, 2OG, C, FB and wildcat RB. 0 WR and 0QB.

Occasionally, as a trick play, they could release one TE to run a > 5yd route.

BTW, can someone tell me whether Greg Rousseau or Jaelen Phillips had more impact in this game?

Another top draft pick immediately getting outproduced by players we passed on that went to other teams?

Wilkins? Tua? Jackson? Igbinoghene? Waddle? Phillips?

5 first round picks in the last 3 drafts. Which one is making the highlight reels? Which one generated ROY buzz?

How about Montez Sweat (13 picks after Wilkins)?
How about Justin Herbert?
How about Justin Jefferson (4 picks after Jackson)?
How about AJ Epenesa (24 picks after Igbinoghene)?

Only two games in on this years rookies, but the so far, Pat Surtain II, Davonta Smith, Micah Parsons, Rashawn Slater, and Mac Jones have all had more impact than Waddle. Slater already looks like a legit tackle.

Kwity Paye(21), Najee Harris(24), and Greg Rousseau(30) all went after Phillips (18).

I have posted before, some of these high first round picks need to start playing up to the draft position or this team is doomed to the sustained mediocrity that has been the hallmark of this franchise for decades.

I get it. A couple of "stars" can't carry an entire roster without any depth. Also, as I have posted before, I think the Dolphins have done a very good job rounding out the roster with solid NFL caliber role players and depth through the later rounds in the draft and free agency. Even a couple of bonus UDFA additions. (e.g. Needham)

But as of now there are two "stars" on the team. And one of them is a kicker.

Not good enough. Not even close. Out of six first round picks in the last three years, only one looks like he might one day become a star. And he'd better. He cost two first round picks.

Waddle is the real deal, the rest are useless. Including "let me hold it a little longer" Tua.

Too many more games like this, and you'll be stuck eating gas-station sushi.

If you really want to get pissed off, consider that these clowns have spent 7 draft picks in the last 3 years on OL men and there still isn’t a decent one in the bunch. Look no further than yesterday when faced with a 3rd and 2 (in four down territory) they elected to attempt two, 2 yard passes (both incomplete). Doesn’t say much for your offensive line when you can’t trust them to gain 2 rushing yards in two plays.

I am officially on the fire Grier bandwagon.

Perhaps we can get a discount on a flying banner for him and Manny Diaz
of the Hurricanes to get fired.

I think Hunt has proved he's good. Time will tell, but I think Deiter and Kindley may be solid. Hunt's utilization puzzles me. Eichenberg's utilization puzzles me. Jackson is really starting to look like a bust.

This is on coaching, first and foremost. OL coaching has seemed poor throughout Flores tenure with the possible exception of Dave DeGuglielmo. I never understood that firing. Ther must be something about him, he has gotten canned a lot. But he seemed to get the most out of that unit when there.

Flores is turning out to be a high character coach. I'm not sure how much else.

Remember this is the guy who fired the first OC, Chad O'Shea, who actually made us look like the mini Patriots. Cool, and effective plays. He was fired after winning a game in fact.

This is also the guy who started Josh Rosen against the Cowboys, saying he would start the QB who "gave us the best chance to win."

Some people say players make coaches look good. We need more players I guess. Right now the O Line should be in the stands selling hot dogs.

It’s only a two game sample, but right now I have to say that the 2 headed offensive coordinator thingy is not working out very well. I will also admit you can’t make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

Maybe just me, but it seemed MIA had some chances to change the game
plan, but the OCs didn't see it. No screens. No rollouts. No TEs
chip-blocking and leaking out. Simple NFL stuff. Let's go back to NE.
Game plan in first series of 1H and 2H was good. NE adjusted and
slowed the O. The OCs didn't adjust. Yes, the OL looked bad, but I
blame the OCs for a lot of it.
