But i can easily see the Giants going into their bye week at at 6-2....next week vs the Ravens is the toughest game on paper then its @Jacksonville and @Seattle....in fact anything worse than 5-3 would be disappointing....

The way they're playing now, 6-2 is a distinct possibility. At some point all these injuries will catch up, but until then, enjoy the ride.

I knew someone would bring up that stupid cliche.....which is true for players only, not fans. I should go back and look at my posts from 2007....i remember the Giants started off slow and i think they won a few after losing the first 2....then i posted "i think the Giants can win the next 4 games looking at the schedule"..... and i'll be damned if that wasnt exactly what happend...

Here is my "looking ahead" take before the season as i studied the schedule, i was hoping for 3-3 after 6, now at worst Giants will be 4-2..also like the Giants the Jags and Seattle look better than expected tho. It was titled "I Don't Know What To Expect" but now after the hot start i would up grade it to 7-3 or 6-4 after 10 games, and 6-4 would mean only 2-3 over the next 5, which would actually be not good at this point, considering the competition and who we already beat:

I mean really NO ONE does. We will all just have to wait and see. My first impression is give it time, but can we afford another 1-3 start? That would suck. There is a stretch of games starting in week 7 (Jags/Seahawks/Texans/Lions) that we could get fat on....ASSUMING we are not playing like shit and the other teams are not saying "Cool we got the Giants this week"!....so if we can go into that stretch at 3-3, 2-4 worst....that would give me hope. By that time all the new systems will be no longer new and if there is a god in heaven we can come out of that stretch 6-4 or 5-5. We shall see.
