The most relevant point Serby makes here is this:
"The more he wins, the lower the Giants will get to draft one of the prized quarterbacks. And the more he wins, the more of a moot point it might be."
The Giants probably will not trade up either because there is still a lot of holes to fill...Namely Oline, WR and CB....so they are not gonna trade away the draft pick ranch to pick a coin flip kid. The danger might be is if another team simply outbids the Giants for DJ's services.
And he lost 2 fumbles but one was meaningless last week on last play of the half...no more hurtful than a meaningless hail mary pick.
Also, as ive stated here before, Jones throwing a lot of picks was ALWAYS a myth, as evidenced by the stat that Eli Threw 18 MORE PICKS at this point in his career.

A few HOF qbs threw a critical number of interceptions early in their
careers. Today's int proved to be harmless. The kid has guts and doesn't
seem to get rattled. If he can work his magic against a few elite teams,
sign him as the franchise qb of the future

Well Greenbay was SUPPOSED to be elite.....and the Ravens are still good, Tennesee are kinda frauds, weak division every year lately it seems...about the only box we havent checked is division win. 5 more to go. That will ultimately decide our playoff fate because they are all loaded up in the late part of the season..

When any of those 4 teams play each other, you can throw out the season
record or performance to date. I can see him winning at least 3 of those 5.
