SAN FRANCISCO — The Warriors converted guards Ty Jerome and Anthony Lamb
to two-way contracts, the team announced Tuesday night after its
preseason finale against the Nuggets.

The news comes two days after Golden State waived Quinndary Weatherspoon
and Lester Quinones, opening up their pair of two-day deals.

Jerome and Lamb were late additions to the Warriors’ camp, signing deals
shortly after the team arrived back from its Japan trip earlier this month.

Jerome averaged four points and 1.5 assists in two preseason games with
the Warriors. He’s played in 112 NBA games, earning five starts, over
the course of three seasons with the Phoenix Suns and Oklahoma City
Thunder. He’s posted career averages of 7.1 point and 2.4 assists.

Lamb, who played in three preseason games, also has some NBA experience.
He’s played in 26 games (three starts) with the San Antonio Spurs and
Houston Rockets over two seasons, averaging 5.1 points and 2.7 rebounds.

In related news, the Warriors waived guards Jerome Robinson and Pat Spencer.

Robinson appeared in three preseason games with the Warriors. Last
season, he averaged 20.2 points with the Santa Cruz Warriors but hasn’t
been able to replicate his shooting from 3-point land that he had at
Boston College that helped him become the 13th overall pick from the
2018 NBA draft.

Spencer played in four preseason games, including the fourth quarter of
Tuesday’s finale. The former college lacrosse star and No. 1 pick of the
Professional Lacrosse League averaged 6.5 points and four assists per
game with the Wizards’ summer league team after spending last season
with their G League affiliate.

This will likely be it for the Warriors’ roster, which stands at 14.
While the team can carry 15 players, the Warriors could choose to keep
the final spot open for financial reasons.
