If you take it in context he is just saying this year that is out of the way now they can work on adding new stuff since he has the stock offense down already. They are not saying how great he is that he learned it. Thats why i said, and look it up if you think i'm lying, that firing Shurmur pulled the rug out from under Jones after a promising rookie year (and Mara has said all they did was mess him up since he got here)...it was almost like i wanted to fire shurmur as HC but keep him as OC! Then of course things went from bad to worse with the Joe Judge hire. Did you ever think if DJ and Josh Allen switched teams DJ would be the star already and Allen would be the behind schedule juries still out guy? I have.
