Yet entirely predictable.

Stat of the day: Counting the playoff game against Jacksonville, the Chargers have now lost 3 of the last 4 games in which they've scored at least 30 points.

Bonus: 9 times in the 2023 season, a team has lost while scoring 30 or more.. 2 of the 9 are the Chargers (week one against Miami and today). Only the Washington Commanders also have 2 such losses this year.

And this, from Popper: Chargers have given up 520 yards. Second time
giving up over 500 this season, fourth time giving up 475+.

Those plays in which the Lions' receiver ran diagonally up the field
were just infuriating because they kept happening, and going for 40
yards. Was coverage lacking because Dean Leonard was in there most of
the game for Davis, who was sick?

The announcers kept commenting on how creative the Lions' offense was.
They sometimes tried to pump up the Chargers' offense but you could tell
their hearts weren't in it. The Chargers' offense was Herbert, Allen and
Ekeler and their inherent abilities.
