The Giants are signing offensive tackle Julién Davenport after a workout
on Tuesday, according to a source.

Davenport, 28, whose signing was first reported by the Daily News, has
started 32 career games and played in 60 for the Houston Texans, Miami
Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts. The Paulsboro, N.J., product was a
fourth-round Houston pick out of Bucknell in 2017.

hype. I'm not sure if its fair to expect him to match the same progress

Ive always believed in giving rookies time, and thats why i never count on them...and even if they break out fast you never know....OBJ had prolly the best rookie year since...... i dunno Shockey? And BOTH those guys were head cases, maybe its better mentally if they struggle a bit first....Saquan had a really good rookie year and isnt a headcase, but it seems he is out as much as playing, at least playing at a level we know he can. So ya never know...

You're right about them being head cases, but they sure had talent
(until Shockey dropped the TD vs the 49ers).
