The team finally found someone who could not only catch punts but even get some return yardage? Why cut him?

It did say "he can be re signed at anytime" must be some kind of roster manipulation move because he passed the test with flying colors.

Too bad Eric Gray is hurt. With a 2-6 record and going nowhere fast, having him back returning punts would be entertainment. Just the will he fumble or won't he will give the fans some incentive to watch the game
